If you’ve had a great night or a great experience around a table that puts a smile on your face and or creates a memory to last forever, well that’s what I’m trying to capture and convey.
What comes to mind when the word table is mentioned?
To me a table is a physical structure whereby people gather around to eat, converse, drink, discuss, ponder, read some literature, gather information, laugh, cry, muse, ruminate, think, perhaps make major life-altering decisions, perhaps implement policy that affects major change or perhaps just be grateful to be around said physical structure surrounded by those you love.
That’s a lot of importance placed on the gathering around a table. For that reason, I take great pride in wanting to create or be fortunate enough to be a part of a table that emanates a well-thought-out setting, unique to the gathering at hand. It does not need to be fancy or ornate, often simplicity is best. It just has to resonate and make you feel welcome, safe and secure. It is in these moments that I chose to document these tables and share them with you.
