Marrakech, Morocco

The sights are wonderful. The souk, with its hustle and bustle, the frenzied pace of the shopkeepers, the myriad mosques, and the beautiful architecture in the zellij art form are all unique to Moroccan culture but for me, it’s The smells and sounds that really draw you in. Sitting on my terrace at La Mamounia, one of the most iconic hotels in the world, listening to the call to prayers and simultaneously inhaling the smell of oud, fig, citrus, and jasmine .. all in one glorious scent I may add.. well it’s an intoxicating experience I’ll never forget.
